Rob Golsby

Founder

Rob is passionate about supporting people through change and has been honing his change management and project management skills since 2012.

He previously worked in accounting and finance roles throughout Australasia at Ford Motor Company, Australia Post, PMP Ltd, Tabcorp and Zespri. Rob became involved in various projects during this time and realised people were at the very heart of change and often require specialist skills and attention.

Rob holds a Bachelor of Business (Business Management / Accounting), and is a Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA Australia). He subsequently undertook a Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management, and achieved the Prosci Change Management Certification. Rob is also an accredited PRINCE2 Practitioner in project management.

He’s highly regarded for his change management expertise but Rob’s strong organisational skills means he naturally undertakes project management roles as well.

By combining the ‘people’ and ‘planning’ aspects of change he can help your team strategically analyse the big picture – exploring the reasons for change and what outcomes are sought. He will take care of stakeholder management, impact assessments, training and communication, while also developing project plans and managing resources and budgets to ensure everything stays on schedule.

When approaching any new project, Rob always focusses on the things that matter most and never loses sight of the individuals involved.

ChangeFOCUS is a consultancy business based in the Bay of Plenty, although Rob welcomes enquiries from further afield.

Our Services

Change Management

Change management focuses on the critical ‘people’ element of any change or project. Involving all stakeholders from the outset and ensuring they’re part of the process is the key to successfully changing workplace practices, systems, technology and culture or addressing external issues where change is required.

ChangeFOCUS provides a range of change management services which can be tailored to the size and requirements of your particular situation. We’ll make sure you don’t lose sight of your staff or external stakeholders, and that the right people are engaged in the change at the right time, by the right people.

Our services include:

  • Developing a project scope and strategy

  • Conducting change impact assessments

  • Identifying affected stakeholders and determining how and when to involve them

  • Developing an overall change management plan - what needs to be done, when, and by whom?

  • Creating detailed assessments and plans for specific change management streams – communication, training, change readiness and reinforcement

  • Preparing and coaching managers to lead change
